NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — A tentative plan to bring a data center to Newport News is already facing significant pushback.
An online petition gathered more than 2,000 signatures in less than a week to protest against the data center. Newport News city leaders floated the idea during the city’s EDGE Summit in October.
