VIRGINIA, USA — As many military families spend Christmas separated by deployments, the American Red Cross Virginia says there’s another need closer to home— service members and veterans who need basic support.
The organization is working to address that need through its Holidays for Heroes program, an annual holiday drive that collects comfort and care items for military members across Hampton Roads and beyond. Donations made now are used not just for the holidays, but throughout the year.
