EASTVILLE, Va. (WAVY) — A grand jury has indicted an Eastern Shore couple on murder charges in connection to the 2024 death of their baby.
Ivan Ross III, 46, and Ashley Morre, 34, both of Eastville, also face charges of child abuse and neglect.
According to court documents filed at the Northampton County courthouse, the defendants have both been charged with identical offenses arising out of alleged abuse and/or neglect of their three children, from the times of their respective births until Nov. 18, 2024.
The paperwork goes on to say that on Nov. 24, 2024, one of the brothers of the twins born on Aug. 29, 2024 had died as a result of criminally negligent behavior of the defendants…
