YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — There were no injuries after an Amazon delivery van fire on Dare Road in York County Saturday morning, according to the York County Department of Fire and Life Safety.
At around 11:30 a.m. on Jan. 17, the department’s personnel were dispatched to a fire in the 800 block of Dare Road in York County’s Dare neighborhood. When crews arrived, they found an Amazon delivery van on fire in a driveway. The fire was extinguished at around 12:45 p.m. Multiple fire apparatuses assisted with the situation.
The fire didn’t affect the house on the property, but the driveway was left with minor damage. A crash didn’t cause the fire. There were no injuries.
