PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — New data presented to the Hampton Roads Planning District Commission board shows the impact federal job cuts have had on the economy in the region over the last year.
Regional economist Nikki Johnson explained the biggest take away from the Hampton Roads 2026 Economic Outlook presentation is the divergence between the national economy and Hampton Roads economy.
