SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Route 58 in the Holland area of Suffolk has reopened after it was closed in both directions earlier Wednesday due to a tractor-trailer incident, according to the city of Suffolk.
The Virginia Department of Transportation said all west lanes of Route 58 were closed near South Quay Road just after 4:30 p.m. after a tractor-trailer went into the grass on the side of the road off Route 58 westbound and blocked the westbound lanes. A WAVY viewer submitted a photo of the scene.
A detour was also put in place right around 5:29 p.m., accoring to 511 Virginia.
