VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Dozens of horses seized from a Suffolk farm last January have made an “amazing” recovery, according to the founder of the nonprofit who helped take in many of them.
Alicia Mahar, 64, who also serves as director for Circle A Home for Horses in Pungo, said she currently has seven of the horses at her farm. She said they continue to amaze her with their progress.
