NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Newport News police say two men are dead following a shooting in the Windsor Court Apartments area along Bellwood Road on Friday morning.
According to the Newport News Police Department, officers were called to the apartment complex around 5:40 a.m. They arrived to find two men suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. Both were taken to the hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries.
Police said at least two guns were recovered at the scene, and that at this time they believe the shooting to be an isolated incident. Investigators also say it appears the two men were known to each other before the shooting…
