NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — A Newport News family said they are battling a rare heart disease, known as catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia, also known as CPVT, which has severely affected the life of the youngest child in their family, Jayleen Morton.
It was a diagnosis from the CHKD team that gave the family answers, but every day since then has been an uphill battle.
