A Newport News nonprofit known for meeting immediate needs like food and clothing says it’s now focused on something bigger, long-term empowerment.
The Legacy of Hope Foundation is raising money to renovate a new building that would serve as an education and empowerment center, expanding its ability to provide job training, youth development programs, and financial literacy classes.
