A 6-year-old nonverbal autistic boy who will reportedly celebrate his 7th birthday next week is recovering after he was struck by a car in a hit-and-run outside his Virginia home.
The crash happened in front of the child’s home on Jefferson Avenue in Newport News on Wednesday, March 4, when a vehicle struck Dralen Satchell and continued speeding away.
