NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Firefighters extinguished a fire on Flowerfield Road in Norfolk Saturday morning, according to Norfolk Fire-Rescue.
At around 4:28 a.m. on March 14, units were called to the 4200 block of Flowerfield Road. When Engine 16 arrived, it saw a two-story apartment building with nothing showing from outside.
Once crews went inside the building to investigate, they discovered smoke in the hallway. A fire attack line was stretched to the apartment that contained the small fire, which was quickly extinguished. Fire control was called at 4:42 a.m…
