NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — A vehicle crash occurred on Interstate 664 S at mile marker 5 in Newport News near 35th Street and Jefferson Avenue Thursday afternoon, according to VDOT.
The incident took place North of Exit 6, according to Virginia State Police.
Motorists experienced delays Thursday afternoon due to the crash. The south center lane, right lane, right shoulder, and entrance ramp were closed.
