The Virginia Arts Festival welcomes back the Dance Theatre of Harlem for a one-night performance on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 7:30 PM at the Ferguson Center for the Arts in Newport News. Under Artistic Director Robert Garland, the company will perform an exciting program blending classical ballet and contemporary dance. The evening includes New Bach, Passage of Being, and Return, featuring music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Ryan Lott, and the legendary James Brown and Aretha Franklin.
