Police say car thefts, vandalism rising across James City County as criminals become more aggressive

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — Police say a troubling trend is emerging across James City County, with car thefts and vandalism on the rise throughout the community.

Investigators say criminals are becoming more aggressive, going beyond checking door handles and now breaking car windows to steal belongings or vehicles.
