TOANO, Va. — A Toano man is facing felony animal cruelty and larceny charges in connection with the death of his girlfriend’s dog following a domestic dispute earlier this month, authorities said.
James City County Police said 39-year-old Steven Shane Hunt was charged after an investigation into the March 1 incident.
