Spartans Turn in Strong Performances at Duke Invitational

DURHAM, N.C. — The Norfolk State women’s track and field team produced several notable performances at the Duke Invitational on Saturday.

Brooklyn Robinson led the Spartans with a third-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles finals, clocking 13.27 after placing fourth in the prelims (13.32). Asiah Wike delivered a strong showing in the 100 meters, taking fifth overall in 11.89 after running 11.62 in the prelims.

Autumn Burrell competed in multiple events, placing 15th in the 100-meter prelims (11.83) and 21st in the 200 meters (24.45). Jada Arrington (56.23) and Payton Drumwright (56.35) finished 20th and 24th, respectively, in the 400 meters.
