SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Community members, civic leaders, clergy, and civil rights organizations from across Suffolk and the greater Hampton Roads region will hold a press conference and rally Thursday, April 23, 2026.
The event will publicly oppose the potential establishment of a U.S. Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement office in a vacant 9,000-square-foot building in the City of Suffolk, according to officials.
