Former longshoreman blames tariffs for fewer ships and lost hours at Virginia port

NORFOLK, Va. — A retired longshoreman is speaking out about the impact tariffs have had on workers at the Port of Virginia.

Ken Sutton says policies coming out of Washington have made it harder for people locally to make a living.

“When somebody in Washington keeps making it hard for someone in Norfolk to make a living… it’s just difficult,” he said…
