CHESAPEAKE, Va. — The Chesapeake School Board said it is reopening its application window for superintendent candidates.
The additional application period will take place from May 6 to May 22.
“After careful consideration, the Board determined that reopening the application window will help ensure the selection of the strongest possible leader for the division,” a Tuesday press release stated. “The Board remains fully committed to conducting a thorough, thoughtful, and deliberate process, with the goal of identifying a superintendent who will best serve the students, staff, and community of Chesapeake.”…
