POQUOSON, Va. (WAVY) – A Poquoson police officer is facing four new felony charges, including two counts of abduction and two counts of using a firearm in the commission of a felony.
The York Poquoson Sheriff’s Office said the charges relate to an alleged incident on April 19 in Yorktown. Michael Disanto is accused of holding his neighbor and a teen at gunpoint.
As WAVY first reported earlier this month, a criminal complaint states a 17-year-old reportedly crashed his truck into a police cruiser in the Lakes at Dare neighborhood. The court documents said deputies arrived on scene and found Disanto “pointing a pistol at two other people who were lying in the street.” Disanto told investigators he was “protecting his house.”…
