POQUOSON, Va. (WAVY) — One person was injured after an electric car struck a residence and caught fire on Poquoson Avenue Wednesday, according to Poquoson officials.
The single-car crash happened in the 1000 block of Poquoson Avenue around 8:22 p.m., and the driver had to be extricated from the car and flown to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital by Nightingale helicopter, according to a spokesperson responding on behalf of Fire Chief Michael Bryant.
