CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY)– An investigation is underway after a child shot themself in Chesapeake Sunday afternoon.
Officers were called to the 1200 block of Ivystone Way at 3:24 p.m. after it was reported that a child shot themselves in the hand with a firearm. When officers arrived on scene, they made contact with the victim and other family members.
