CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Two people and their dog are displaced after a fire in Chesapeake on Sunday, Feb. 18.
Chesapeake Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire on the 1200 block of Brinsmayd Arch.
The call came in around 2:30 p.m. Crews arrived under ten minutes, and reported smoke visible from the roof. The fire was under control shortly after 3:15 p.m. Two residents and their dog were able to safely evacuate before fire crews arrive. The residents are displaced.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
