VBPD: Missing 14-year-old boy found safe

UPDATE: Makhia Tyrice McFadden has been safely located, according to the Virginia Beach Police Department.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia Beach police are seeking the community’s help in the search for a missing 14-year-old boy.

According to police, Makhia Tyrice McFadden left his home in the 4300 block of Orleans Way on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. with a red electric scooter. He was last seen on foot heading east at the intersection of Windsor Oaks Boulevard and Princess Anne Road.

McFadden does have a cell phone, but it does not have cell service.

He is approximately five feet and 110 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last spotted wearing an orange jacket with white fur lining, khaki pants, black shoes and black glasses.
