Pitt Ohio opens truck terminal near the Port of Norfolk

Pitt Ohio is expanding its network with a new truck terminal in Norfolk, Virginia, according to a May 20 press release.

The 15,000-square-foot, 37-door facility will offer the company “unparalleled advantages,” allowing it to integrate maritime, inland transport and warehousing for importers and exporters, the release said.

Located near the Port of Norfolk and Pitt Ohio’s Richmond LTL terminal, the new site represents a major milestone for the company, said Chuck Hammel, VP of supply chain, in the release.
