New traffic signal at St. Paul Blvd. and Freemason St. in Norfolk to be activated

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A new traffic signal at St. Paul’s Boulevard and Freemason Street will activate on Tuesday, Sept. 2.

The City of Norfolk says the installation of the traffic signals is to improve pedestrian safety in the area. Pedestrian push buttons and signals are included to make crossings safer and more accessible.

While Freemason Street (east of St. Paul’s) will be closed as development continues, vehicles on Freemason Street can now have full access to St. Paul’s Boulevard…
