NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) – A motorcyclist was sent to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries following a crash involving a sheriff’s deputy vehicle in the area of Jefferson Ave. and Boykin Lane Tuesday morning, according to the Newport News Police Department.
The crash occurred around 7:29 a.m. and the motorcyclist was taken to the hospital. The sheriff’s deputy was uninjured.
