LINCOLN — A Virginia man died following an Oct. 17 multi-vehicle accident, Delaware State Police said.The crash occurred around 2 p.m. as the victim, whom police have not identified publicly yet, was driving a Hyundai Sonata northbound on Dupont Boulevard, approaching Johnson Road. At the same time, a Honda Accord was traveling northbound on Dupont Boulevard, directly behind the Hyundai, and a Freightliner tanker-truck was traveling westbound on Johnson Road, approaching Dupont Boulevard.According to police, as the Hyundai’s driver was slowing to a stop for the yellow or red signal, the Honda’s driver allegedly failed to slow down, causing the Honda’s front to strike the Hyundai’s rear. The collision pushed the Hyundai into the intersection, where it struck the left side of the Freightliner as it traveled westbound through the intersection, police said.The Hyundai’s driver, a 68-year-old man from Portsmouth, Virginia, was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead……
