CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Three adults have been displaced after a fire on Prospect Trace in Chesapeake’s Fentress neighborhood Sunday morning, according to the Chesapeake Fire Department.
On Nov. 30, dispatchers received a call at 9:12 a.m. from residents reporting smoke inside their home in the 1700 block of Prospect Trace. Firefighters arrived on scene at 9:19 a.m. and found smoke coming from a two-story residence. Crews located a small fire on the second floor, containing it to the area of origin. The fire was under control by 9:28 a.m.
All occupants evacuated before the department arrived. Medics evaluated one adult on scene, but they did not require transport to the emergency room. Smoke damaged the house enough to displace the residents until it can be repaired. The residents have made their own lodging arrangements…
