CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — On stage in front of a crowd at its auditorium, six Oscar Smith High School student-athletes signed their national letters of intent.
Highly-coveted four-star wide receiver Travis Johnson officially signed with Michigan, fending off a late push from other colleges that tried to get him to flip commitment.
“It’s a family atmosphere,” Johnson said of Michigan. “… Lot of stress on my shoulders. A lot of programs tried to push me last minute, but I’m sticking with Michigan.”…
