SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – The streets of downtown Suffolk were filled with holiday cheer for the annual Suffolk Holiday parade.
While the parade kicked off at 7 o’clock, some folks were lining the streets hours before to make sure they had a good spot to view the festivities.
“Don’t let your aches and pain stop you, because once you get out here, wrap yourself up, it’s just a blessing, said paradegoer Lucy Newby, “it’s just a blessing to be here, but once they stop the traffic you won’t be able to get through. It’s going to fill up.”…
