SUFFOLK, Va. — Construction crews in Suffolk have completed another milestone in a major intersection improvement project at Shoulders Hill Road and Bridge Road, opening a new traffic lane this week.
A free-flowing right-turn lane on Shoulders Hill Road is now open, allowing drivers to turn onto Bridge Road without stopping or waiting in the main traffic lanes. The change is intended to ease congestion and improve traffic movement through the busy intersection.
