HAMPTON, Va. — Research shows nearly every American will know at least one victim of gun violence during their lifetime. On Tuesday, a small portion of this group met in Hampton to remember the lives lost in 2025.
Organizer Bobby Blaze said it’s a somber occasion that he wanted to combine with a bit of joy. He lined pictures of lost loved ones along the walls at Day and Night Cereal Bar and handed out hot cocoa to anyone who came.
“We want to celebrate their lives, remember who they were, not just what happened to them,” said Blaze. “They have to know that we will not forget them, never forget them.”…
