NORFOLK, Va. — Two teachers came out to speak Wednesday at a public hearing on the Norfolk Public Schools budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
The proposed operating budget is $472 million, with other funds such as capital improvements and grants bringing the total budget to nearly $643 million.
