Police: Surveillance video linked suspect to Chesapeake shooting

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — As Chesapeake police look into a home invasion and shooting that happened over the weekend, a man who lives in the house where it happened is sharing details about what took place.

Around 10:45 a.m. Sunday, Chesapeake Police responded to a home in the 1100 block of Grandy Court for a home invasion and a shooting. One male victim was found with several gunshot wounds and was rushed into emergency surgery. He’s in critical condition.
