SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The Suffolk Police Department is seeking new information on a cold case from 1999, according to a post from the department on Facebook.
On March 31, 1999, at around 5:40 a.m., Henry “Hank” Cuffee, 33, was found dead at the end of Skeet Road in the Huntersville neighborhood. Residents found Cuffee laying on the road with multiple gunshots to the back of his head.
The investigation discovered Cuffee “frequented the drug community,” and Portsmouth Police previously charged Cuffee for murder but the charge was dismissed. The investigation revolved around several suspects, but miminal information led to the investigation going cold…
