SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Suffolk Police are investigating a death involving a train in the intersection of West Constance Road and Second Avenue early Saturday morning, according to the Suffolk Police Department.
On April 11 at around 3:20 a.m., the department responded to the intersection for a reported crash involving a train and a pedestrian. When officers arrived to the scene, they found a person who was pronounced dead at the scene. The department is withholding the person’s identity until next of kin has been notified.
