Man charged for robbing teens during PlayStation 5 sale, says York-Poquoson Sheriff

YORK COUNTY, Va. — Authorities with the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office say a man is facing felony charges after allegedly robbing three teenagers at gunpoint during a PlayStation 5 sale arranged through Facebook Marketplace.

According to the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office, the teens had listed the gaming console for sale online and met potential buyers at a home on Kenmar Drive.

Sheriff Ron Montgomery said the teenagers approached the suspects’ vehicle with the PlayStation 5 when at least four people displayed handguns and stole the console before fleeing the scene…
