Firefighters battled a massive medical supply warehouse fire in Tracy that sent billowing black smoke into the Bay Area on Thursday afternoon.
The South San Joaquin County Fire Authority said about 200 firefighters were at the scene of a structure fire in the 5700 block of Promontory Parkway, a large complex of warehouses west of the city’s downtown. The fire also threatened a FedEx facility nearby, authorities said.
