June 12, 2026 – SAN FRANCISCO — Governor Newsom’s California Breakthrough Advisory Group — a preeminent group of technology executives first announced in 2025 — met Tuesday at Turo headquarters in San Francisco to present new solutions to help advance efficiency and transform service delivery in state government. These solutions add to their ongoing projects, which include fast tracking state hiring, modernizing state contracting, reducing wait times at the DMV, stopping fraud, and streamlining services.
