Four men pistol-whipped and robbed an Uber driver early Friday morning while he was waiting to pick up a passenger outside an Oakland hotel, the Oakland Police Department said.
The driver arrived outside the Oakland Marriott City Center at around 4 a.m. Friday morning, according to a police report. Two cars — a white Lexus and a gray Dodge Charger — then pulled up alongside him.
