No one in San Francisco is as devoted to the fish taco as Abe Núñez.
Not satisfied with offerings around the city, the former State Bird Provisions chef began his Chicano Nuevo popup a decade ago to sling beer-battered fish filets on fresh tortillas in the style of Baja California, the Mexican state that borders California to the south and where he grew up.
