Two people were rescued from a cliff near the Golden Gate Bridge on Monday afternoon after apparently going off trail and ignoring posted signs, according to the San Francisco Fire Department.
SFFD said it received multiple 911 calls about a cliff rescue needed near the bridge at about 4 p.m. Firefighters found two people at the scene and began a rescue operation with help from California Highway Patrol’s Golden Gate Division.
