Two injured after car plows into Boudin Bakery near Fisherman’s Wharf

A driver crashed into Boudin Bakery on Thursday afternoon, police said, sending two people to the hospital but leaving negligible damage on the Fisherman’s Wharf establishment.

A San Francisco Police Department officer responded to a crash on the 100 block of Jefferson Street at around 1:22 p.m. Thursday, according to Officer Robert Rueca. The Boudin Bakery location on that block houses a shop, cafe and bistro.

“The preliminary investigation determined that an adult male driver who was operating his vehicle inadvertently drove into the building and struck the people,” Rueca said…
