A woman was assaulted and kidnapped Friday night from a residential street in Oakland, police said Tuesday.
The kidnapper allegedly struck the woman with a firearm and forced her into a dark-colored, four-door sedan around 9:30 p.m. on the 4200 block of Redding Street, near Interstate 580 in the Redwood Heights neighborhood, according to the Oakland Police Department.
