A San Jose man who repeatedly brake-checked a semitruck in a fit of road rage, then lied about the accident to get an insurance payout, is now facing 60 days in county jail for false insurance claims and reckless driving, authorities said.
Ken Pham Tran, 53, was convicted of felony insurance fraud, felony vandalism and reckless driving after a trial last month, according to the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s office.
