A man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries following a shooting early Sunday in San Francisco, police said.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting near Fern Street and Van Ness Avenue at about 1:11 a.m. They found a man suffering from a gunshot wound and provided medical aid until paramedics arrived, according to the San Francisco Police Department.
