Heat advisory in effect Tuesday in Bay Area

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Tuesday will easily be the hottest day of the forecast, with a heat advisory going into effect for portions of the Bay Area at 10 a.m. High temperatures are expected to be as warm as 100 degrees for areas like Antioch, Clayton, Morgan Hill and Vacaville.

We will see widespread 90s for the rest of our inland regions. The muggy conditions are lingering, which won’t make the “feels-like” temperature any better.

The heat advisory is set to expire at 10 p.m. Tuesday.

Skies will be clearer and drier than yesterday, which will be the trend into tomorrow too. Less humid and cooler weather is on tap for the rest of the week…
