Commuters can expect more frequent buses during peak hours along several Muni routes starting Aug. 29, the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency announced Tuesday.
The main routes that are set to see the effects of the changes are the 1-California, which operates from the Outer Richmond to downtown, N-Judah, which runs between Ocean Beach and the San Francisco Caltrain station at Fourth and King streets and the 5R-Fulton Rapid, which travels between the Transbay transit center and Ocean Beach.
Buses will come to stops along the 1-California and N-Judah lines every nine minutes, cutting wait times by a minute. The 5R will run 60-foot buses every 10 minutes. Additionally, buses that are part of the 22-Owl late-night and early-morning service will have more reliable schedules with pickups every 30 minutes, Muni officials said…
